Where is Xi?

China faces of outbreak of coronavirus. But the main concern is president Xi Jimping. He isn’t appear in public since last month. It’s was discovered for article made by New York Times newspaper on its edition today. The rumours of Xi has a stroke still fresh. His ausence on the edge of this heath crisis shows the main problem for Chinese communist party.

The death of Chairman Mao in 1976 has changed the rules of Communist Party leadership. These changes was made by late leader Deng Xiaoping such as a two-term presidentialship and an indication of new leader on outgoing politiburo during a Communist party Congress in five years time. Xi has changed it to keep in a row for a lifetime.

Xi has fight against corruption inside communist party such as Bo Xilai’ scandal in 2012. The stronger leadership push by economical reforms to change Chinese capitalism allows him to change the leadership rules and abolish the two-term rule imposed by Deng Xiaoping in 1982. Otherwise, he introduces his thoughts into chinese constitution in 2018.

China never seen a powerful leader as Xi for decades. Former leaders like Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao has obey the rules. Jimping has change that in cause to recovery the faith on Communist Party has lost on behalf of population despite troubles of human rights like Re-education camps on Xinjiang Province and the current outbreak of coronavirus in Hubei province.

The Communist Party don’t response the article made by New York Times. The focus on solve the outbreak of Coronavirus still on the priorities. The ausence of Xi Jimping don’t have comments on Chinese social medias like Wechat and Weibo in cause of heavy censorship made by government.
